Training for Auditors Based on ISO 50001 Requirements for Certification

The training module specifically designed for existing internal auditors and those who are interested or to become internal auditors for energy management system implementation at any organisation for best practices adoption and certification purposes.

The training will help energy management personnel such as energy management committee members and registered energy managers at energy consumers affected by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act 2024 to conduct the EnMS internal review as required in Section 8.2 (b) of the Guidelines on Energy Management System under the act.
“Implement periodical EnMS internal review for at least once a year to ensure that the system is effectively implemented and maintained, as well as achieves the energy policy, energy objectives and targets. “

The training module covers the purpose and objectives of internal audits, overview of auditable clauses in ISO50001:2018, process and key steps and activities, traits of good auditors, identifying, classifying and recording audit findings and audit reporting.

Also shared some examples of documented internal audit findings based on its classification and sessions of evaluation audit scenarios as practical exercises for participants.
