Dr. VTR Dharamarajah

Dr. VTR Dharamarajah is an established and well known among energy efficiency industry players in Malaysia as a very experienced energy efficiency expert especially in the area of energy auditing and air conditioning systems for commercial buildings and industrial facilities.

Since his graduation from City University of London, Dr. Dharma has been working in the HVAC industry and energy efficiency related industries. He possesses more than 26 years of in-depth knowledge and hands-on experiences in energy efficiency business and solutions . Dr. Dharamarajah received his PhD in Business Administration in 2019, has the MBA degree from International University of Georgia and holds Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic.

His key areas expertise are conducting energy auditing and identification energy saving potentials for ACMV systems, motors, fans, pumps, compressed air systems, thermal systems and lighting systems.

He has vast experience in identifying energy saving potential in buildings and various industrial facilities in countries in Asia and Europe from the development of projects to the implementation until the results achieved and reported. He has involved in hundreds of energy audits including in under the Energy Audit Conditional Grant by the government of Malaysia in 11th Malaysia Plan and has successfully implemented some energy performance contracting projects as well to save energy costs for his clients.

Dr. Dharamarajah is a Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) with Energy Commission, a Certified Energy Auditor and Accredited Energy Measurement and Verification Professional with Malaysia Association of Energy Service Companies(MAESCO). He is also actively involved in promoting the energy efficiency industry as the Honorary Secretary of MAESCO and a committee member in the Malaysian Association of Registered Electrical Energy Managers(MAREEM).

Currently, he is one of the expert trainers and assessors for the Certified Energy Manager’s Training Course by MAESCO which is endorsed by Energy Commission to qualify to become REEMs.

Ir. Mohd Normarzuki Ya’acob holds the Bachelor (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malaya and he has over 20 years of experience in utility plant operation, trouble-shooting, maintenance and steam plant energy optimization.

Mohammad Iskandar Majidi

Mr. Mohammad Iskandar Majidi is one of the well-known experts in the energy efficiency industry and involved in various carbon footprint related works for companies in Malaysia started his career in sustainability sector in 1998. He has vast experience in energy management, renewable energy and carbon management through various projects and programs at national and regional level. He has worked and collaborated with various international consulting firms working for different international donor agencies such as Danish’s DANCED and DANIDA, UNDP and UNIDO on energy efficiency , renewable energy and carbon reduction programs and activities.

Phun Lee Ming

COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM

Mr. Phun Lee Ming is the most recognized leader for compressed air industry, especially in Energy Efficiency Solution. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical & Production) from the National University of Singapore and the founder and director of his own company which specializes in compressed air systems especially in making them more energy efficient in the operations. Prior to that, he was the former general manager for Atlas Copco for more than 12 years, for both Malaysia and Singapore.

Bakhtiar Ismail

SMART ENERGY MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING SYSTEM

Mr. Bakhtiar started his career as an engineer with Ranhill Bersekutu Sdn Bhd as part of the ACMV design team. He was assigned to the KLIA construction project team as a clerk of work and seconded to Arki Landskap Sdn Bhd in 1997 for the KLIA Water Features project currently known as KLIA Jungle Boardwalk. Upon completion, he was absorbed as a Mechanical Supervisor under Urusan Teknologi Wawasan and performed the operation and maintenance works at KLIA Satellite ‘A’ Building: International Terminal.

Mr. Visnu Varatan is a specialist in water management and audit specialist and currently working a lot in the manufacturing sector to reduce water wastages and water consumptions. This works contributes to efforts by companies to improve water utilization efficiency that can lead to achieve the Sustainability Development Goal 6, SDG.
